The project was an opportunity to design a product/service/interaction using Layer’s design style either as a collaboration between the design firm and another company, or as a design from Layer.
I chose to design a needle free insulin delivery system that will allow the user to administer their treatment in a more efficient manner without the worry of disposing needles.
Layer Design
Layer’s design language is primarily defined by their strong use of texture whether physical or visual, accompanied by geometric forms and sharp edges. Their use of color remains very muted with a choice of materials that focus on sustainability and innovation.

Removing the needle improves the patients’ overall experience with their injection, as well as removes the need to dispose of needles.
